Try the whole roasted Branzino for two with lobster bisque and new potatoes and several choices for dessert. The raw bar has decadent temptations for seafood lovers, and we are planning on ordering the Mother of Pearl Platter next time with oyster, shrimp, lobster and more. If that is not enough to make your mouth water, wait until you see the dessert menu with the option of take away for a late-night treat at the hotel.

Famous People Players Dinner Theatre
Fancy dinner and a show?
Toronto is ready to entertain and has many options for watching performers while eating dinner. One of the top ones has to be The Famous People Players Dinner Theatre. During your wonderful three or four-course meal, you will see an impressive black light puppet show depicting celebrities and famous people. The organization, which dates back to 1974, employs people with physical and intellectual disabilities and is so excellent they perform worldwide and in Toronto. Online restaurant reviews show the food is as great as the entertaining and artistic performances.
Scaramouche Restaurant and Pasta Bar and Grill
Scaramouche Restaurant and Pasta Bar and Grill is a fancy dining establishment with modern award-winning French cuisine on the menu. Choose from The Restaurant where you can enjoy epic city views if you request a table by the large ceiling to floor windows or the more casual dining area at the Pasta Bar and Grill.
The head chef and Englishman Keith Froggett is also part owner, and under his leadership, the restaurant has been featured in the press often over the years with rave reviews. You will love the excellent customer service, including free valet parking. We recommend the Foie Gras Terrine with sea salt brioche and toasted hazelnuts, followed by the decadent coconut cream pie with white chocolate. Trust us; you will be content and impressed after a night at Scaramouche.
House of Gourmet
Some nights you need to take it easy on the credit card, and luckily, there are heaps of affordable and wonderful restaurants in the city. House of Gourmet on Dundas Street West is one of them. The Chinese restaurant is well-known for generous portions of Peking duck and delicious suckling pork with hot noodles. It is usually busy but well worth the wait and you can’t beat the great prices. They also offer takeout and delivery if you don’t have the energy to leave your hotel room.
