Laferriere Citadel

Sans-Souci Palace

The majestic ruins of the Palace of Sans-Souci stand amid mountains north of Haiti. The place has an interesting history and stands right outside the village of Milot. The Palace was once the royal residence of King Henri Christophe I of Haiti.

Bassin Bleu

Bassin Bleu is a natural water site that is located 12 km northwest of the city of Jacmel. The park has seven waterfalls and is cobalt blue. The pool is accessible after a 30-minute hike which can be rigorous as it requires climbing slippery rocks.


Jacmel is one of the safest places in Haiti, located 25 miles southwest of Port-au-Prince. The city is blessed with impressive mansions and urban architecture out of which some of these buildings have turned into shops and galleries.

National Pantheon Museum

The museum features the heroes of the independence of Haiti and Haitian history. You can see the many artifacts the museum showcases such as slave shackles, murder weapons and more. The museum is located in the capital city of Port-au-Prince.
